I have so many stories to share, like that yesterday was our 1 year wedding anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been a year already! And we just got back from a 9 day trip to Oahu. Life is rough…
But first I want to just get right down to the good stuff and share pictures of our new puppy, Rocco!

We just got him Sunday night so we are still working on getting into a routine but it’s been amazing how much he has transformed in just a few days.

He already loves playing fetch. He has mini tennis balls and he likes to play fetch very first thing in the morning.

He is already going on walks on a leash too! The first time out was a little, uh…slow. But now he can jog on the leash a little.

He is so fun!

This was taken early in the morning so yes, those are my legs and my pink bathrobe. He is standing so proud.

But then he got a little chilly so I wrapped a scrap of t-shirt around him and he liked that. He was very focused on watching the birds on our back hill. He is showing signs of being quite a hunter.

But then he got sleepy and wanted to be held. Years from now he will deny that this ever happened.

He loves playing under the couch. He thinks it’s hilarious to play with his toys under there. That is an awfully cute little bum.

My mom brought him his first stuffed animal which is actually one I had as a kid. He really likes wrestling with it.*

He has his own Instagram account. His user name is rocco_the_minpin (Rocco James) if you would like to follow his daily posts. He has like 6 followers so he’s a pretty big deal, haha!

And so far potty training has been a cinch (for me anyway). That’s because my husband works from home and has been doing all the work including getting up in the night. He is the best doggy daddy and husband!
